Monday through Friday, every morning when I turn on my computer I see it and it reminds me why I work where I do.

I have been to conferences, reading articles, and watching news reports, and even reality TV shows where it seems all are saying that the decision to make healthy relationship choices is sweeping through the schools of our nation. They even have huge clubs with tons of members. This makes me wonder, “Why not in our schools?” I know it’s there. In almost every school in Fairbanks and North Pole we get comment cards that say, “I’ve made the decision to wait.” If so many people are choosing it, why are we keeping it a secret?

Making the choice to have a healthy relationship doesn’t just involve not having sex until your married. It involves a change in your lifestyle, in the movies we watch, the clothes we wear, in our schools, and in our generation.

Ladies and gentlemen of my generation, it’s time to want change!
